About us
It all began with a simple sticker and a lot of baking! Ashley, inspired by her "World's Okayest Mom" car sticker, turned her love for baking for her husband and 7 kids into a business. Being a stay-at-home Mom wasn't quite challenging enough, so World's Okayest Bakery was born to share these treats with everyone in Hartford, South Dakota, and beyond!
Our baked goods
Our baked goods are special because they're made with family recipes, a whole lot of love, and a family effort. Ashley, her daughters, and her husband bake together, pouring their passion into every cookie, cupcake, and treat.
Community involvement
We're proud to support our Hartford community! Ashley's husband, Kyle, is a disabled Veteran, and we love supporting local veteran charities and organizations. You can often find Kyle at the DAV office handing out free cookies to veterans, listening to their stories, and sharing his own.
The people behind the bakery
Ashley finds her slice of Heaven in the kitchen, experimenting with new and old recipes, often with her daughters by her side. While she loves baking, decorating cupcakes is where Kyle shines. Inspired by his mother's baking, he takes pride in creating beautiful cupcakes that match each customer's vision.
